I’ve been coming to Blankenship Family Dentistry for over 25 years. They’re great and I love the camaraderie that they all share. It makes for a comfortable atmosphere while you’re having your cleaning or other dental work.
You want your family to have the best life possible. It’s why you have (or will) spend hours taking kids to and from practices, games, and other activities.
It’s also why you encourage your kids to be as healthy as they can be. For their oral health, you want them to brush and floss every day, try not to eat too many sweets, and bring them to a family dentist in Stone Mountain, GA who you trust.
You can find that last one at our practice, Blankenship Family Dentistry. Our team has decades of experience caring for patients of all ages, and we’re also a family of dentists. As a father-daughter team, we understand how important your family is to you, and we’ll treat your loved ones with the same care and concern that we treat our own relatives.
To schedule an appointment with us, call 770-766-8995 today.
Dr. Jeffrey Blankenship has been practicing “patient-centric healthcare” for more than three decades. He’s treated generations of families, and today his daughter, Dr. Jordan Blankenship-Sniker, is helping to continue that tradition of service.
We welcome you to bring your daughter or son to our office for their first dental visit around their second birthday. Please note that our goal is to make this a “happy visit.” We won’t pressure your child to do anything he or she isn’t ready for, but we will do everything we can to make this a pleasant experience for your little one.
This will give your little one a chance to meet our team. We will count their teeth rather than give them a full cleaning and exam. However, we will discuss the proper way to clean their teeth. And when they are finished, your child will receive a cartoon electric toothbrush and a prize from our toy box.
Of course, this visit is a great opportunity for you as well. You can ask us any questions about our services and tips for what you can do at home to encourage healthy habits.
Around age 3, most kids are ready for more standard appointments with cleanings and exams. Even so, we will work with your child. We want them to feel comfortable at all times, which reduces their odds of having dental anxiety as they get older.
As you and your kids get older, your oral health needs will change.
When your kids begin losing their primary teeth, we can discuss whether orthodontic care could be needed down the road. If so, we can help you find the right option.
While we hope you never need this particular service, we do treat dental emergencies as well. It would be wonderful if no one ever broke or cracked a tooth and no one ever developed a toothache. Yet, we know these things happen. If one of them happens to you or someone you care about, we’ll be ready to help.
At Blankenship Family Dentistry in Stone Mountain, you can count on experienced, quality, friendly dental care for you and your loved ones. Call 770-766-8995 or contact us online to request your next dental checkup at our office.
